Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Scriptario website and services. By creating an account, subscribing, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Provider

The Service is provided by Individual Entrepreneur Vladislav Zakharov, registered in Georgia (Tax ID: 345848933; registered address: Georgia, Batumi, Tbel Abuseridze Street, N 38, Apartment N63) — hereinafter the Provider, we, us. Contact: hello@scriptario.com.

2. The Service

Scriptario is an online software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides AI-based automated transcription of audio and video into text, including speaker identification, 100+ language support, word-level timestamps, custom vocabulary, and export to formats such as DOCX, SRT and JSON. The Service is provided as a service; no copy of the software is transferred to you. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription term.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions, plans and billing

The Service is offered under the following plans: Free — $0/month (up to 30 minutes per month); Pro — $12/month (up to 20 hours per month); Team — $39/month (up to 100 hours per month, up to 5 seats). Prices are stated in US dollars and may be shown in your local currency at checkout.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the same period, monthly or annual, unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

Payment processing and the sale of subscriptions are handled by a third-party payment provider acting as our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. The Payment Provider processes payments, issues invoices/receipts, and collects and remits applicable sales taxes/VAT. Your purchase and receipt are issued by the Payment Provider; the underlying software service is provided by us under these Terms. We do not receive or store your full card data.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy at /en/refund, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to: (a) upload or process content you have no right to process; (b) submit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; (c) resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service; (d) use the Service to violate the privacy or rights of others. You are solely responsible for the legality of the audio/video you submit and for obtaining any required consents.

7. Your content

You retain all rights to the media you upload and to the transcription output. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service, including transmission to sub-processors used for transcription. We do not claim ownership of your content.

8. Intellectual property

All rights in the Service, software, and trademarks, including Scriptario, belong to the Provider. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service.

9. Availability and disclaimer

We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and to process transcriptions accurately, but we do not guarantee 100% accuracy or uninterrupted, error-free operation. The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer-protection law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or unlawful use. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive, such as IP, liability, and governing law, will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation; failing that, in the competent courts of Georgia, unless mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
