Refund Policy
This policy explains how refunds work for purchases of Scriptario plans. It supplements our [Terms of Service] (Section 8) and never limits your statutory rights.
1. Who processes your payment and refund
Orders are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited / Paddle.com Inc.). Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment method, funds typically arrive within 5–10 business days after approval.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee (first purchase)
If you are not satisfied for any reason, we will refund your first purchase of any subscription in full — no questions asked — provided you request it within 14 days of the purchase and your usage does not indicate abuse of the guarantee (for example, consuming a substantial part of the monthly quota and then requesting a refund).
3. Renewals
If a subscription renewed and you did not intend it to, contact us within 7 days of the charge. If the new period is substantially unused, we will refund the renewal in full. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time in your account settings or via the link in your Paddle receipt — access then continues until the end of the paid period.
4. One-time passes
12-month access passes purchased as a one-time payment do not auto-renew. The 14-day first-purchase guarantee in Section 2 applies to them as well.
5. Free plan
The Free plan involves no payment, so there is nothing to refund.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@scriptario.com from your account email, or reply to your Paddle receipt. Please include the order/receipt number from the Paddle email. We confirm receipt and resolve refund requests within 5 days at the latest.
7. Your statutory rights
- EU/EEA consumers: you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, with the exceptions provided by law for digital services supplied immediately with your consent (see Terms, Section 8, including the model withdrawal form).
- Consumers in Brazil: you have an unconditional 7-day right of withdrawal under art. 49 of the Consumer Defence Code — see the Portuguese version of this policy.
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law.
