Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to subscriptions to Scriptario, an online transcription service provided by Individual Entrepreneur Vladislav Zakharov (Tax ID Georgia: 345848933). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account moves to the Free plan, or is closed at your choice.
2. 7-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund of your most recent payment within 7 days of that payment, provided the Service was not substantially used during that period, as a guideline, no more than 30 minutes of transcription processed. This right of withdrawal also reflects consumer-protection rules in certain jurisdictions, including the 7-day right of withdrawal under Brazilian consumer law and equivalent EU/other protections.
3. Renewals
Subscription renewals are charged automatically at the start of each new billing period. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before the renewal date. Charges for a renewal that has already started are generally non-refundable once the new period's service has been made available, except where required by mandatory law or in case of a service failure attributable to us.
4. Free plan
The Free plan is provided at no cost and involves no payment; therefore no refund applies to it.
5. Service failures
If the Service materially fails to function as described and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time, you may request a pro-rated refund for the affected period.
6. How to request a refund
Email hello@scriptario.com from the address associated with your account, including your order/receipt number. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
7. Payment processor
Payments and refunds are processed by a third-party payment provider acting as our Merchant of Record. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank/card issuer. You may also contact the payment provider regarding a payment using the receipt it sent you.
